In English this semester we are reading a nonfiction novel called 12 Years a Slave. It is very interesting and draws out a lot of pathos appeal. I am about 9 chapters in and am excited to read more I just wish that I didn’t have to annotate thoroughly the whole time because it blocks my train of though sometimes.
